Meet the Team

We are best friends, and both of us are very experienced caregivers. On our respective journeys, we recognized the challenges faced by patients in navigating the healthcare system. Motivated by our shared experiences, we became Board Certified Patient Advocates, specifically focusing on championing equity in healthcare. Our mission is to ensure that every patient, regardless of background, has access to the care and support they deserve. Together, we are making a difference, one human at a time.

Trina L. Coleman, Ph.D., BCPA

Dr. Trina L. Coleman brings the precision of a scientist to the art of patient advocacy. Her academic journey led to a Ph.D. in Theoretical Nuclear Physics, and she has spent decades mastering the skills essential to effective advocacy: analyzing complex systems, identifying critical variables, asking the right questions, and translating technical information into clear, actionable solutions.

After years of navigating the healthcare system as a caregiver for her sister, Dr. Coleman realized that the same analytical approach she used to solve problems in physics was exactly what families need when facing medical decisions. She now applies her expertise in observation and data analysis to ensure families have clarity, accuracy, and a strong voice in their healthcare journey.

Jeneen Jeter, BCPA

Jeneen Jeter, a dedicated K-12 teacher with a degree in accounting, has transformed her life into a journey of patient advocacy following her mother's and husband's diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma three days apart. Her experience has honed her communication skills, allowing her to effectively coordinate care and manage appointments, while her accounting background equips her with exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail. Jeneen’s problem-solving mindset is invaluable as she navigates the complexities of health challenges, ensuring that her loved ones receive the best possible care. Her unwavering commitment and compassion shine through as she skillfully balances the demands of patient advocacy with her professional expertise.
